Inclusiveness and well-being
We believe everyone deserves equal treatment and support, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, religion, political beliefs, or disability. The well-being of our employees comes first in everything we do, and health & safety are, therefore, key priorities at our brewery.
Volunteer programme 'Time for Each Other'
At Grolsch, we believe it’s important to focus not only on producing, selling and distributing fantastic beers, but also to consider the world around us. That’s why we developed the volunteer programme 'Time for Each Other'. As part of this programme, every Grolsch employee may spend two working days per year (16 hours) doing volunteer work during working hours, without having to take personal time off. It’s a fantastic opportunity to take a break from the daily grind and to do something for someone else.
Responsible alcohol consumption
Grolsch has been brewing beer for over 400 years. Beer is important to us, but we also recognize that it plays a significant role in public discussions about alcohol. The alcohol industry, including beer brewers like us, is naturally aware of the role we have as producers, suppliers and employers when it comes to the responsible use of alcohol. Grolsch therefore has an active alcohol policy, aligned with our culture, legislation, and the responsible enjoyment of beer.
Enjoying alcohol has been part of our culture for centuries, and we would like to keep it that way. At the same time, we are eager to prevent the harmful effects of irresponsible alcohol use. That’s why we participate in a variety of initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to combat alcohol misuse.
