Circular Water Plant

At Grolsch, water efficiency and optimising water usage are our second nature. At our brewery, for example, we reuse water from the bottle rinser by piping it straight to the crate washers to rinse the crates. While that's an example of direct reuse, we are also looking at circular ways to use our treated wastewater as rinse water. We’ve already developed a conceptual design for this circular water plant, and discussions with the water authority regarding permit requirements are underway.
