Emily Pittman appointed as new Managing Director Royal Grolsch
Royal Grolsch announces the appointment of Emily Pittman as its new Managing Director. Emily will take over from Petra Maricova (Finance Director), who acted as interim Managing Director for the past months after the departure of Andrei Haret.
Emily is currently Vice President and Managing Director for Unilever Ireland. In this role, Emily is also member of the board for Diversity and Inclusion and was founder of a gender diversity network. She will start on 1 September 2023 as Managing Director of Royal Grolsch and Asahi Brands France, which falls within the same cluster.
After starting her marketing career in her native New Zealand, she continued her career as a management consultant in the UK. From 2009, Emily worked for Coca-Cola, where she held various commercial roles in the UK and Ireland, before joining Unilever in 2017.
'We look forward to welcoming Emily as our new Managing Director. She has an impressive 20 years of experience in general management, commercial and marketing across different countries and well-respected companies. She is purpose-driven, a strong leader of people and builder of culture. Emily's wealth of expertise will allow her to continue the strong work in the Netherlands and France, while also bringing new perspective to our business,' said Paolo Lanzarotti, CEO Asahi Europe & International.
